This
hydroplane is one of Australasia's most famous of all
boats. Built and originally raced by the McGregor Brothers
in New Zealand.
The
boat clocked 157.5 mph at Lake Karapire in 1972.
The
boat found it's way into Australian ownership and has
also ran under the name of Splitfire. The boat has won
many a trophy and speed record over the years.
